An encouraging report for Sunday, Jan. 14

Psalm 126:3 KJV

"The LORD hath done great things for us; whereof we are glad."

The Lord truly hath done GREAT things for us & we are so very glad!!

Fifty one precious children showed up for Sunday School today. Marcia had the opportunity to teach them the story about the lame man by the pool Bethesda. A young girl (probabbly around 11 years old) once again stayed for the morning service today & at the end of the service, she placed her faith in Christ to save her! Praise the Lord!

We had around 24 for the morning service including 3 visitors. We found out that 2 of the new people were ladies looking for a good Baptist Church. Their names are Lot & Bambi. They were looking for a new church because their church is turning contemporary. They were thrilled with the service.......singing the hymns & listening to the message. Pastor Courtney Lewis preached a fantastic sermon on "What Will You Do With Jesus?" in the AM service. Lot & Bambi returned to the afternoon service & they even pitched in & helped us clean the church before the afternoon service. We had a wonderful afternoon service with Pastor Lewis preaching a challenging sermon on "Sweet Hour of Prayer."

Thank you for praying for the church here. God is working in amazing ways. Please continue to pray with and for us.

Would you please pray for these children and young people to continue their attendance and learn to sit and listen well so that they may understand the glorious gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ? We know you would, and we appreciate that!

This is Marcia with a photo of Cham - the girl who called upon the name of the Lord following the church service this morning. GOD is GOOD! Please pray for her mother. Her mom was diagnosed with breast cancer. We will be visiting her mom this week.

It was a blessing to be able to host Pastor Courtney Lewis. He preached two powerful Bible-based messages. He is headed to a conference in Bacoor, Cavite with Bro. David Cloud - pray for that meeting that many good brethren would be strengthened in the Lord and in the work of the ministry.
